YUYI, 5 OTHERS GRANTED FREE BAIL OVER ALLEGED COPPER THEFT
Former Copperbelt Province Police Commissioner Mwala Yuyi and his five co-accused have been granted bail in their own recognizance in a case arising from an alleged copper transaction in Mufulira.
Mr. Yuyi’s lawyer, Siisi Mulele, has told Phoenix News that all the accused were granted “free bail” when they appeared before court today AND ARE expected to appear before court again on October 1, 2026, for mention and possible commencement of trial.
