Zambian-American Influencer “One Boss Lady” Released From Prison

A Zambian-American influencer and political vlogger has been released from prison after serving part of an 18-month sentence for hate speech, following insulting remarks made about Zambia’s President Hakainde Hichilema.

Zambian-born Ethel Chisono Edwards, who also holds US citizenship and works as an estate agent in New York.
The 42-year-old was arrested at Zambia’s main airport last year after arriving to attend her grandmother’s funeral.

    • Every action has consequences, ba Blago. She knew what she was doing was wrong, and she paid the price.

The funeral issue is irrelevant. Maybe her grandmother died with a broken heart because of her terrible behavior.

  1. She was raised badly. I hope she has had time to reflect during her incarceration. This should serve as a lesson to all those badly brought up chaps like Emmanuel Banda. Zambia’s cultural values are clear whether one is at home or abroad – respect elders first and foremost. I am 60 years old and can not point a finger and insult a person of HH’s age however much I may be aggrieved.

  2. And when she gets back to USA, Donald John Trump and ICE will be waiting for her at JFK International Airport with chains to tighten around her and put her on the Plane back to Zed

  3. Only fools can be influenced by her foolish behaviour. Zambia needs sober people and not lunatics. Let her insult Trump too, and see what will happen to her.
