ZELENSKYY KNOWS THE WORLD ALREADY HAS ITS ANSWER

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was asked whether Donald Trump had made him a political scapegoat.

A Sky News journalist asked whether Trump was attempting to shift responsibility for his own problems—weak approval ratings before the congressional elections, soaring diesel prices and the course of the war in the Middle East—onto Ukraine and its president.

Zelenskyy did not launch into an accusation. He simply smiled and said that was his answer.

It was the response of a man who knows the world can already see what is happening.

Trump has blamed Ukraine’s refinery strikes for higher fuel prices, attacked Zelenskyy personally and called for Ukraine to choose a new president.

Meanwhile, Russia continues bombing Ukrainian cities, killing civilians and striking the energy infrastructure Ukrainians will depend upon throughout the winter.

Zelenskyy did not need to explain the contradiction. He did not need to defend himself again or give Trump another sentence to attack.

He smiled because the question already contained the answer—and because he knows the world heard it.
