📢 PASTORAL LETTER TO THE NATION
The Zimbabwe Council of Churches (ZCC) has issued a Pastoral Letter to the Nation, calling on all Zimbabweans to safeguard constitutionalism, peace, and national cohesion.
Among its key calls, the ZCC urges:
• A free, fair, and credible national referendum on Constitutional Amendment Act No. 3.
• Respect for the courts and the rule of law.
• Peaceful and lawful civic expression.
• Inclusive national dialogue that promotes justice, reconciliation, and lasting peace.
As the Church, we reaffirm our commitment to speaking the truth in love and working towards a united, peaceful, and democratic Zimbabwe. “Speak out, judge righteously, defend the rights of the poor and needy.” – Proverbs 31:9
