ZMP PARTY PRESIDENT KBF BACKS CATHOLIC BISHOPS REJECTION OF COMPREHENSIVE SEXUALITY EDUCATION (CSE).

Zambia Must Prosper Party (ZMP)
President, Kelvin Fube Bwalya (KBF) has supported the stance taken by the Zambia Conference of Catholic Bishops (ZCCB) to vehemently oppose the Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) materials in their current form in which they have allegedly included pictures of families of same sex marriages.

Mr. Bwalya says the stance taken by Catholic Bishops to oppose the CSE materials and their use in all Catholic schools in the country is highly commendable and must be emulated by others and supported by all well-meaning Zambians who desire to preserve the chastity of marriage as planned by God to be a union between a man and a woman.

He says the Church in its diversity and the majority of citizens are consistent on their rejection of same sex marriages and is therefore wondering why certain international partners are keen on introducing such practices in Zambia through CSE which is primarily targeting young people in this country.

“I am appealing to Church mother bodies, other faith based organisations and my own Church UCZ in particular to condemn this intended introduction of teaching our children same sex marriage. That if the so called civilised societies want to jump off the moral cliff into the obess, Zambia will not be part and parcel of their unGodly leap into moral decay,” Mr. Bwalya says.

President Bwalya says ZMP Party stands with the Church in rejecting the new CSE materials and in calling for their revision so that the country’s values are safe guided and not lost to alien practices which may spell doom for the country and its future generations.

“Same sex marriages have no place in Zambia and any material which aims to promote such to our young people must not be allowed anywhere near them as such may lead to moral breakdown”, Mr. Bwalya says.

He says President Hakainde Hichilema’s UPND Government must be seen to protect the interest of citizens by doing that which citizens desire as opposed to championing the interest of foreign donor partners wishing to impose behaviors that have no place in Zambia which is a Christian nation.

Mr. Bwalya says Government must separate the issue of school dropouts due to pregnancies by addressing it with the right teaching which is age appropriate and completely discard attempts to introduce young people to same sex marriage.

He says Zambia Must Prosper Party is categorical and consistent on this matter and will never change its stance urging the UPND Government to walk the talk in denouncing alien practices such as same sex marriages.
