ZVIMBA DCC WANTS MNANGAGWA TO STAY ZANU PF LEADER UNTIL 2030
Zvimba DCC has proposed that President Emmerson Mnangagwa remain First Secretary of ZANU PF until 2030, with the party’s 2027 People’s Congress either deferred or held with him continuing at the helm.
The resolution was adopted at an inter-district meeting in Banket chaired by DCC chairman Byron Mbiri and attended by Politburo member Ziyambi Ziyambi and other senior party officials.
The proposal will now go through the provincial structures before reaching the national level for consideration at the ZANU PF National People’s Conference in Chinhoyi in October.
Other resolutions included a party-backed empowerment fund, free primary education and accelerated investment in water infrastructure.
