It is becoming clearer by the day that Robert Chabinga’s mission is not to rebuild the PF but to bury it for good.
Yesterday we heard that Chabinga now wants to lock the PF Secretariat and has even asked the police to move in, the same police who provided him and Miles Sampa security during the illegal “convention” of 24th October 2023.
What kind of leadership calls the police to intimidate its own members? What kind of “President” finds comfort in destroying his party’s home instead of defending it?
This is not leadership, it’s betrayal.
Chabinga’s actions are not mistakes; they are part of a calculated effort to neutralize PF as a viable opposition force ahead of the 2026 elections. He is doing exactly what the ruling party could only dream of; “Turning PF members against each other and crippling the very institution that once gave Zambians a political choice.”
If the true PF leaders still have the courage and clarity, this is the moment to act decisively. It is time to seek an alternative political vehicle that will carry forward the ideals, membership, and momentum of the PF before it’s too late.
Because right now, Chabinga is not saving PF, he is serving UPND’s political interests.
And every minute wasted under his command is a minute stolen from the opposition’s future.
2026 is not far. PF must choose: REVIVE or DIE.

I do wonder if what is happening to the Patriotic Front happened to the UPND while they were in Opposition.
Where Renegades are allowed and supported to have an Illegal UPND Conference.. with full state protection.
Where the Registrar of Societies recognizes this Illegal Conference and replaces Hakainde Hichilema as President of the UPND, with a version of Robert Chabinga.
Where one of these Renegades is recognized as Leader of the Opposition by Speaker Matibini replacing Jack Mwiimbu or Cornelius Mweetwa.
Where the offices of the UPND are locked up by renegades, under the Protection of the Zambia Police.
What would honestly happen in Zambia if what is happening to the Patriotic Front happened to the UPND. I shudder to even contemplate.
There would be no Zambia. We could be worse than GAZA.
I thank the Patriotic Front for their Restraint.
But the Party has now reached a critical point..
It’s time to look at the the hundreds of Patriotic Front Officials who are in government serving the country as MPs, Councilors, Mayors and Council Chair persons..who Mr Hakainde Hichilema is prepared to obliterate.
Look at the general membership spread through out the country who believe in your vision for Zambia..and look at the Citizens who believe in Multi Party Democracy and the freedom of Choice.. which again Mr Hakainde Hichilema wants to destroy.
Don’t look to the Courts, For these courts are full of Mr Hakainde Hichilema ‘s goal Keepers.
Find a Platform for Your vision…It is not in Tonse Alliance. Sean Tembo, KBF are after your Structures, and Members..Once the Special purpose Vehicle lands on ZMP or FDD, the Patriotic Front is dead..
Grab the bull by the horns. You are too big to fail.
Blaming UPND is not the solution. Are you saying UPND is responsible for the two Tonse factions that have emerged ( just like the multiple PF factions)?
For me, the confusion in the PF is the result of poor leadership and an opportunistic approach to politics. The glue that held PF together was the plundering of national resources. Now that they are out of power and their coming together was not based on noble principles, the party is breaking up into a thousand pieces.
It’s demise is inevitable. After 2026, there will be no PF.
