Zambia has minted four medals at the Senior African Championships which ended last evening June 12 2022. They are broken down as follows:
A. Gold 1
-Mens 400m Muzala Samukonga
B. Silva 2
-Womens 400m Niddy Mingilishi
- Zambia’s 4×400M Relay Men’s national team.
(Muzala, Luchembe, Patrick and Mulenga)
C. Bronze 1
Women’s 200m Rhodah Njovu
For the first time for Zambia to win four medals at this highest level of competition in Africa. It has never happened before. We are on the right track. Congratulations to all. As we say in Athletics, “TOGETHER WE CAN BECOME MORE, DO MORE AND ACHIEVE MORE.”
