 AFRICAN LEADERS ABANDONED MUHAMMAD GADDAFI AND BLAME THE LIBYAN PEOPLE FOR HIS DEATH!

MUAMMAR GADDAFI, an icon of AFRICA and a champion of AFRICAN sovereignty, was betrayed by the very people who claimed to defend the continent.

When LIBYA was ättäcked and destabilized, no major AFRICAN leader came to its defense. Worse still, some blamed the Libyan people for the fall of their leader, forgetting history and friendship.

Concrete examples:

In 2011, BURKINA FASO’S President BLAISE COMPAORE, despite being close to GADDAFI, ultimately distanced himself to avoid opposing Western pressure.

CHADIAN President IDRISS DEBY, who had been an ally of Libya, also tacitly accepted foreign intervention.

Many other AFRICAN countries chose to side with NATO and Western powers, leaving Libya to face the invasion alone.

GADDAFI was never abandoned by his people, but by those who called themselves his African brothers. His dream of a united and strong AFRICA was betrayed by those who should have supported him.

Today, history reminds us that AFRICA can only count on solidarity when it is courageous and independent. Let leaders remember: betrayal is never forgotten.
