CHRIS ZUMANI ZIMBA REFUSES TO BE USED TO PETITION PRESIDENTIAL RESULTS.
Toonse Pamodzi Alliance Secretary General Chris Zumani Zimba has refused to be used to petition the Presidential election results.
Mr. Zumani Zimba says Hakainde Hichilema won the election and that he does not want to divide the country through what he describes as baseless claims.
He says with the current fire burning across the country, his priority should instead be healing, peace and reconciliation.
Mr. Zimba says as Secretary General of the Toonse Alliance, he believes refusing to petition the results will help save many lives and prevent further tension in the country
He says his brothers who are hiding and those in detention can only be helped through healing and reconciliation, rather than confrontation with the legitimately elected President.
“With such fire, petitioning Presidential Results Will Be a Big mistake! As for me as Tonse Alliance Founder, SG & Chief Advisor, I will NOT be PART of it. Let dialogue, healing, peace & reconciliation reign now to serve many detained & hiding.”

Sounds very sensible, this is how a Dr in Political Science should sound. It’s better to face facts, you lose nothing. Ku supporter sitilesa manje ka suppordwe sikali bwino. Zumani is right and frank, Hakainde won the elections and there is nothing to petition for here. As someone observed, the margin between HH and Mundubile is just too wide, even if HH surrendered all the votes he got from Southern Province, Mundubile still can’t win the election. The PVT he showed us during the counting of results was done sometime in June, 2026. What other tangible evidence has he got? If there was any appealing evidence, Zuman could not have declined to help him. He knows that getting into petitions now is just a waste of time and money, it’s better kalya akashele ku campaign walya ko.
Zumani Zimba I fully agree with you run away from unnecessary problems. Kk said you only have one life. You are very sensible dear. Some of us new already that HH was winning. The Man worked extremely hard during his first term. His works made him win . No rigging at all.
MOREOVER Dr Zumani Zimba knows what happened in 2016 where ECL played mingalato where HH & GBM’s PETITION was NOT Heard.

God is so good, those guys (PF) thought they were WISE but it will work for HH’s good.
What do Zambians need honestly? HH has worked hard without a salary. His government has restructured the external debt. Direct Foreign Investment has increased. Social transfers and CDF in place. Mines have become operational and peace is prevailing in the country. There can only be one president at a time gentlemen. Let’s work together and protect the gains we have achieved thus far.
