Criminalising Donations
..instead of pursuing those that gifted, he is pursuing those that received…

The Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) has summoned Lusaka Archbishop, Dr. Alick Banda over a donated Toyota Hilux
The Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) has a long-standing policy of donating forfeited, seized vehicles and assorted goods to public institutions and charitable organizations.
These donations have been given to the DMMU, FIC, National Parole Board, UTH and Churches including the SDA, and the Catholic Church.
Recently President Hakainde Hichilema has recently been on a donating spree to the Church with notable and large finacial gifts given to;
1. Libala SDA Church (Lusaka)-K1.8 million.
2. Southern Zambia Union Conference (SZUC) Dorcas Rally (Rusangu)-K1.9 million, 10 cows/heifers, feeding, and 200 bags of mealie.
3. Choma Central SDA Church- K200,000.
Many have questioned the intention and source of funding for these large donations.
In Zambian law, it’s criminal to receive stolen property or goods! Whether being given as a gift or for safe keeping! This is not new law just conceived to nail Alick Banda. It has been the from Northern Rhodesia and their nothing wrong with it.
In every civilized society, it is criminal to receive stolen property even if it comes from government or quasi government institutions.
Slick Banda knew he did not do any service to ZRA to deserve the “gift” you strange Zambians call it. He knew he was not a ZRA employee receiving a bonus.
He is old enough with some basic education to know that it was an undeserved gratification meant to please a friend of the president under presidential instructions.
In short he knew it was nothing other than a criminal act.
Being a clergyman as I am, he was supposed not only to refuse taking he “gift” and sever the dirty friendship.
But no, he actually told ECL he needed a car. Just the way people tell rich friends: “I need hundred dollars to purchase dinner for my family today”.
Emmanuel Mwamba is a rotten thief to the core do he does not see the criminal act in it. For him it’s “natolafye” nangu “uubonba mwibala alya mwibala”. No shame, no remorse for the millions poor and suffering Zambian women and children and the vulnerable in society. For him and his PF friends and their late boss ECL, stealing public funds and assets was normal.
That is why our Lord God was kind, as always, to simply remove them from the grace of serving us. Imagine such rotten minds who see a victim in a criminal clergyman were still in power. Where would we be????
We Zambians are a docile people but our main source of power is OUR PROPENSITY TO CRY TO GOD! In this world, we are only second to Jews in our praying nature.
And our Lord faithfully answers us. Remember the Chiluba third term issue where they even sent snippers after late Ackson Sejani, the Rupiah Banda – Chiluba evil alliance; the bill 10 evil agenda; the Lungu family and PF thugs unbridled plunder missions, all were defeated by God.
