VISITING CDE GBM
This afternoon, we took time to visit GBM who is currently admitted, and receiving treatment in hospital. I wish my dear brother Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba a quick recovery.

If only you got rid of your hatred for others, then you can be a good man knowing that hate and love cannot originate from the same heart, it’s impossible. If GBM is your dear brother, then who is HH to you? It means he is your dear enemy but there are no haters that will ever enter the kingdom of God, there is no room for hatred there. Remember Christ said you should even pray for enemies because if you only pray for your friends, what reward do expect from God. In Zambia the Clergy are failing us, instead of preaching Christ’s love to the people, they preach hatred even in Church. As Paul put it, they always want to be seen and praised by men instead of being praised by God. Today I just want to preach, I don’t want to insult anyone and those who can, can read with me from the book of 1John 3:14-15. The Bible says: we know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abide that in death. Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer and you know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him. So let’s allow Christ to come and reign in our hearts so that we can have life eternal. Christ died for everybody including those people we hate most and through them, it’s Christ we hate and not them. Even at school we go there to acquire knowledge and not hatred, of what benefit is school to us if we go there and come back with degrees and PhDs of hatred? God is Love and not hatred.
Whenever there is either an illness or a funeral of a prominent member of Society, all these caricatures of Politicians will be falling over each other to visit there, not because of the Illness or funeral but for mere posturing and attention seeking, and often with News Crew and Cameramen. I feel pity for the Patient, ukuchita ba Patient ichikwela, why can’t they leave the Patient alone to rest and recover? I don’t think they really give any damn to the Patient. They are no different from those big disease carrying green bottle Flies, Balunshi, which hover around one’s face irritatingly and unwanted.
