Zambia’s government has revealed that President Hakainde Hichilema does not receive a salary from the state.
According to the Minister of Information, this decision reflects a leader who puts the nation first.
He stated: “We must be proud on the global stage.”
Hichilema has always emphasized cutting government spending and fighting waste.
Officials say the President’s sacrifice shows his commitment to Zambia’s economic recovery.
I have to be honest with you, I do not trust this Government. Maybe these are just words to deceive the nation. Show us the proof that the President does not receive salary .
Or you can show us proof that he receives the salary. It is not a big deal Kunda, those small favours you do to people at your own level without charging them it’s the same here. HH doesn’t need/want the cash from the government coz he has cash already. I mean when you just seat and ask yourself, What will it profit you to have millions in the bank while other people are suffering?.

You might even faint! HH doesn’t need Govt money. When he needs money, he can just auction a few bulls or export a few herds of cattle and he is quids in! HH is only working to serve not to steal like the previous regime that we had.
He even stay at his own house which he built with his money.
There must be a law that all government employees should receive their salaries and do whatever they want to do with it.We cannot have anyone doing charity to the government, yes we beg from from governments but no individual should pretend they are richer than the government, from where?
