HH HAS RAISED THE BAR IN FAILURE TO UPHOLD CONSTITUTION, KAFWAYA TELLS MWEETWA.
… Says the economy is the worst it has ever been in the country. The cost of living is the worst we’ve ever had.
LUNTE PF MP Mutotwe Kafwaya has wondered what bar of leadership President Hakainde Hichilema has raised when the economy is at its worst.
Commenting on Chief Government Spokesperson Cornelius Mweetwa’s remarks that he often has nightmares over who will succeed President Hichilema in 2031 because he had raised the bar of leadership too high, Kafwaya said the President had only raised the bar in bad leadership and failure to abide by the Constitution.
“Why is he having nightmares for 2031? Is he saying that UPND has no capacity to develop talent? From 2021 to 2031 they are unable to develop talent? But what is this bar he’s talking about? Is it the laws that they have pushed through like the cyber laws? Is it the constitutional amendments that they are trying to push through? What is a bar? Because the economy is the worst it has ever been in the country. The cost of living is the worst we’ve ever had, democracy has plunged to the lowest ever, governance is completely the worst that we know of,” Kafwaya said.
“Some people are even saying I was not appointed but they have been signing reports from 2023. You go to court and say ‘I wasn’t appointed’. The bar in terms of bad leadership, failure to abide by constitutional provisions, caderism in institutions is the highest. Maybe If honourable Mweetwa thinks there’s no one who is going to beat this government on those bad aspects of leadership, I would agree with him”.
Kafwaya lamented that members of parliament could not even iron their clothes or access warm water because National Assembly Motel was also load-shedded.
“But good leadership, go to the people, go and ask them. Mweetwa is eating and enjoying himself, he’s drinking so he’s a very wrong person to talk about the high bar. This bar is the lowest and I can assure you. Look at the reports that have been coming out of the Financial Intelligence Centre, can you say that’s a high bar? It’s the worst. I don’t think there will ever be anything like that. Go to the National Assembly Motel, load-shedding, MPs who have come from their constituencies living in a load-shedded facility; you can’t iron, you can’t warm water, and it’s crazy. That is their best. The bar he’s talking about is disorganisation of political parties by the misapplication of the Registrar of Societies,” said Kafwaya.

And this back and forth is productive how, Kafwaya? Who does it serve?
People elected you to serve them. Better their lives and you waste time engaging in a back and forth rethoric with Mweetwa to whose benefit? PF or the people that elected you? Serve people not some out of touch institution that obscure and cant hold itself accountable. If it did, the abuse of state resources and violence would not have happened and your continued noise making in support for PF undermines the will of the people (in Zambia in general) and the constituents who elected you.
This MP is a toxic tribalist. He will not survive elections even in his own back yard come 2026.
Ba Kafwaya is one person who has failed to heal from the 2021 election loss.He has not appreciated any thing that UPND has done for the country.He doesn’t know of any wrong the PF did to the country.He feels all was well and still wondering why PF was rejected.The constitution he is talking about is getting amended because it was not done well.Some laws were designed to stop the opposition from enjoying political engagements freely.He was quite and enjoying while smiling all was well.Today he debates in Parliament like a furious person and very much against things that were created by his PF government.He must heal and debate nicely and not being personal.We only have one Zambia we ought to develop and we need to work as one inspite of having divergent views.
President Hakainde Hichilema has definitely set the bar for leadership high and people like Mr. Kafwaya fall way short of his standard and all they can do is mumble incoherently.
During the PF, the bar was set so low that even thugs began to think of themselves as presidential material. They also elevated themselves to the rank of commander. There reasoning was like “if that one can be president, I too can rule Zambia”.

Hakainde is the worst president we have ever had. He is an oppressive dictator with no clue what he is doing. He got into power via lies, and we will remove him from power next year. Zambia will be liberated soon. He will be replaced with a youthful president who does not have any skeletons.

Information minister has night mares because, the level of promises generated by his boss will be too difficult to surpass, then there is the achievement side, these two parameters can give any person nightmares because how do you face the Zambians with such an unfulfilled menu as the next leader of the same party
Surely Samlindo, which promises are you people always talking about really that which the UPND government has generally not fulfilled. Yes, there are some which has not been fulfilled but 3/4 of the UPND promises have been fulfilled. Moreover, in it’s fulfilment of the promises therr are promises are immediate, short term, mid term and long term. For instance stopping lawless it caderism it is just a directive because the law is already there in palce, this is immediate.
2. Adjustment of CDF from your PF K1.6 million to UPND K30.6++ million which has already been effective 3. Co struction of schools and health facilities- this is happening all over the 156 constituencies in Zambia. 4. Employment of teachers, heal1th personnel this has been happening from January 2022 to date. Promise fulfied, construction of roads including Ndola Lusaka to be completed any three year. 5. Ka NAPSA 20% increase in investment +++
