WE hope President Hakainde Hichilema’s commitment to deal with the concerns that former president Edgar Lungu’s family have once the former head of state is given a honourable funeral is genuine, says PF faction Secretary General Raphael Nakacinda.
And Nakacinda says President Hichilema’s apology for exposing the family, country and the region to the prolonged Lungu funeral was a step in the right direction.
On Friday, President Hichilema said he was ready to deal with the concerns that former president Edgar Lungu’s family had once the former head of state was given an honourable funeral.
President Hichilema added that he was conscious of the Lungu family’s feelings over the matter.

It’s the Lungu family -vs- The Government of the Republic of Zambia and not PF-vs- The GRZ. How Raphael Nakacinda sees it fit to come in is not quite clear to me. What if the family says,” no we’re not accepting it”, what does the informed citizen make of it?
President HH should never ever apologize to the Lungu family over the burial of their late ECL. Otherwise you may be seen as a simp President. The Lungu family owe the people of Zambia everything…from stealing Zambia’s wealth to embarrassing the republic over the burial of the late Pres. ECL.
And the courts are waiting on them to bury their dead loved one. The cases shouldn’t be dealt with kid gloves just because they are the Lungu family. They didn’t steal from Pres. Haikande alone, they stole from the Republic of Zambia hence the need for the cases to be dealt with the strongest arm of the law. After we can accept their apologies.
But these PF thugs are really day light robbers- crooks who always try to twist things.
President HH did not apologize to these so called Lungu family. What the President said was that he is ready to listen to their concerns afte burial of the so called lungu family not to apologize, apologize for what? HH did nothing to Lungu to apologize. Lungu is the one who was supppsed to apologize to HH but he missed the opportunity and today he is no more. He died with his hatred of Bally so such people have no room in paradise.
Additionally, the corrupt Esther, Tasila, Chiyeso and Daliso theirs is the law of Zambia which they broke and the law is fighting for the Zambian people for it’s course to take place.
