More opposition leaders to be arrested on trumped up charges before 2026 elections – Lubinda

Acting PF president Given Lubinda says as Zambia gets closer to 2026 general elections, more opposition political parties leaders will be taken to prison on “trumped-up” charges.
Speaking in an interview with Daily Revelation on Wednesday over the upholding of an 18-months prison conviction of Raphael Nakacinda by the Lusaka High Court, Lubinda said more people would be sent to prison for simply resisting the “bad” governance of the UPND government.

Courts are there , You have lawyers to defend yourselves. You’re deemed innocent until proven guilty. Don’t look up to Zambians to stand with you in trial yet some of the things taking you to jail were against the same people you want to mislead today
If anything all these guys are even lucky to be still roaming freely. The amount of money they have stolen, the reign of terror they carried out they all deserve to be in prison.
This is not PF govt that used to arrest people tramped up charges. This UPND govt, new dawn, new ways of doing things. Just prepare for the arrests if you broke the law.
There are no trumped up charges here Given because evidence is clearly there. You guys vandalized the economy. You are simply paying a good price. No one is being victimized dear. It’s a reflection of your sin. You stole and you were corrupt. You just didn’t imagine that you would lose election and now you are on your own Edgar is not there to protect you. As long you move on the wrong side of the law you will regret why you were born.
