MUMBI PHIRI ENDORSES MAKEBI ZULU FOR PF PRESIDENTIAL BID
Patriotic Front (PF) former Deputy Secretary General Mumbi Phiri has endorsed Constitutional Lawyer Makebi Zulu as the party’s preferred candidate for the Presidency.
She described Zulu as a leader with the capacity to guide the PF back into government and secure success in the 2026 general elections.
During the Hot Seat radio programme, Phiri urged Zulu to prioritise the completion of the hospital project in Lusaka’s Chalala area, donated by the late King Abdullah Aziz of Saudi Arabia.
She also encouraged the revival of the nuclear power initiative in Chongwe, which was discontinued by the current administration, citing its potential to reshape Zambia’s energy landscape and stimulate economic progress.
Phiri expressed confidence that Zulu’s leadership would bring about economic recovery and improve the welfare of citizens.

It’s not even normal to have a country with every Jim and Jack wanting to be President…I can count like 40 people so far all want to become President. 24 from the PF alone…wow what a country. It means something is terribly wrong. PF stole openly and bragging, brought the economy to its knees and then you have the UPND that is working tirelessly to revive our economy and to restore public order being victimized. Just because of pure hatred for one remarkable man in President HH. The opposition is just hell bent to remove the man HH so they can again loot and never have to work again at the expense of majority Zambians. I must say that that never again shall we allow them (PF) to govern ever. We are indeed our own enemies. We glorify stupidity and criminality instead of substance and development. Please I urge all eligible Zambian voters to maintain the UPND government and President HH until 2031. Vote in 2026 for HH. Do not be fooled for a slice of bread instead of a loaf.
