OASIS FORUM POSTPONES MARCH PAST, WILL GATHER AT THE CATHEDRAL OF THE CHILD JESUS INSTEAD
The Oasis Forum has announced the postponement of its planned Peaceful March Past against Bill 7, which was scheduled for 28th November 2025.
The decision comes after the Forum heeded advice from the police, despite all formalities for the demonstration having already been completed.
According to the Forum, the postponement creates space for constructive engagement, with a meeting now set with President Hakainde Hichilema at State House on the same day the march was initially planned.
In place of the march, the Oasis Forum will hold an intercession prayer rally at Pope Square (Cathedral of the Child Jesus) in Lusaka on 28th November 2025, beginning at 08:30 hours.
The Forum says the gathering is meant to “seek the face of God” as they prepare for dialogue with the Head of State. Members of the public are invited to attend, with black prescribed as the dress code.
The Oasis Forum comprising CCZ, EFZ, LAZ, NGOCC, and ZCCB, reaffirmed its commitment to defending constitutionalism, the rule of law, and good governance.

Yes, dialogue is always the solution
Hakainde’s version of Dialogue is Empty NOISE, COFFEE and SELFIES. You will be entertained to these and will see pictures of you on the stairs of State House with a smiling Hakainde.
But Come December the Unconstitutional and Illegitimate Bill 7 will be on the floor of Parliament.
I pray that this gathering at Pope Square will be allowed by the Zambia Police Service..I won’t be surprised to find the Church sealed by battalions of Police in armoured vehicles.. some more Intelligence they will say!
Ensure you also invite Members of Parliament to this gathering. They really need to examine their Conscience as they will soon be facing this issue. …as Hakainde seems determined to take this illegitimate and unconstitutional Bill 7 to Parliament come what may.

If such an assertion were true, we would have who what when how and when answered. Instead all we have these generalised statements that lack substance. Aka innuendo what we see vert good at spreading….
Remember the Zamtrop account details? Could anyone doubt those as not being factual? In the end what was credible was used in court of law, not these kaponyas who keep getting slapped around muppets cause they cant even get it together to hold a convention and elect a credible executive. From trying to impose themselves in Tonse and the other failed alliance? In the last four years what can we say PF has attained? Infighting? Is that what will sort the issues that plague Zambia?
Recall PF said they will make UNDP time in government very hard. This is what they are doing with their friends. You treat such characters in a civil way and with kids gloves, they gain an inch, you face the consequences. This is testimony of how the Zambia society is structured. The so called Church is a disappointment.
