STATUE OF MARY STOLEN FROM CHURCH IN NDOLA
A STATUE of the Mary has been stolen from St Nicholas Catholic Church in Ndeke, Ndola.
Parish priest Grivance Mulenga confirmed the theft, stating that the statue was taken from the church premises between Sunday and Monday last week.
“The church discovered the statue was stolen between Sunday and Monday. On Wednesday, a neighbour informed the caretaker that they saw a man jumping over the church’s wall fence, but after a search, the person could not be found,” Father Mulenga said in an interview.
