REF: RESIGNATION FROM UNITED KWACHA ALLIANCE (UKA)
With the above caption matter.
United for Better Zambia UBZ Party wish to inform you that we have withdrawn our working relationship with United Kwacha Alliance (UKA) for the following reasons:-
1. Failure to Displine Ms Saboi Imboela and Phumulo Situmbeko who disrespected the former head of state Dr Edgar Chagwa Lungu in their voice notes.
2. Failing to deal and Discipline the Citizens First Party for allegations insulting intelligence of the former President Lungu who is your member of UKA and a Council of Presidents member and the assembly of Presidents.
3. Luck of respect towards the former President Edgar Lungu by council of Presidents to the extent of taking advantage of the Eligibility Case that President Lungu will never be on ballot paper in 2026 and the Court will not allow him as if you are the judges in the matter.
4. You failed to give hope to poor citizens Eleven (11) months down from the time you allegedly formed the same failed UKA.
9. Failing to involve others in working relationship in counsultion with the assembly of Presidents and the Council of Secretary Generals in decision making. If you can’t do that without a small number of UKA alliance can you do it with the millions of zambians.
As united for Better Zambia UBZ Party from eight (8) months we have been working with you, we have just observed that you are just time waster and you are wasting Zambians People’s time who have put hope in UKA when you are not even ready to help them from getting out of the hardship they are going through now and form government soon just like it was clearly in the two linked audios were your UKA founder partner Saboi Imboela said you as UKA you are not in a hurry to form government in 2026.
Due to these and many other reasons,we feel we cannot continue working together as partners because seemingly we have different objectives. We therefore wish to categorically state that we have resigned from being members of the United Kwacha Alliance.
