WE DIDNT COME TO ENDORSE ANYONE

Dear Lord God, not again. So many calls have been coming through, so let me make this clear once and for all.
I, together with many other councillors, honoured the President’s invitation for a meeting. That was the right and noble thing to do — it is our civic duty to engage whenever called upon in the interest of our people.
However, I have one serious concern: organizing a councillor to endorse someone on my behalf is completely wrong.
I was part of the meeting today. At no point did we meet as councillors and agree to endorse Hakainde Hichilema.
I have no issue with anyone choosing to endorse the President — that is their democratic right. But someone exercising that democratic right on my behalf, and on behalf of many others, is absolutely unacceptable.
For the record, I remain Angel Musonda, a proud PF councillor. I belong to one PF — the PF I know and stand for.
Let the truth be told, and let it be clear.
If this meeting was called for the President to engage the councillors, it is wrong to turn it into a partisan gathering. It is unfair to gather people for a seemingly noble cause and then sneak in partisan politics. The councillors came in good faith. Next time people will think twice before attending such a meeting.
Let us learn to keep politics out of state functions.
Thats why it is so difficult to engage with Mr Hakainde Hichilema… Everything for him is propaganda, and a tool for Praise.
Such toxic Propaganda is what even puts off the Catholic Church.. Propaganda on the Pulpit, to change the church into an endorsement Channel is not for the Catholics.
I looked at the White T shirts dorning the Councilors, and shook my head… for I knew
Hakainde had changed this seemingly noble engagement into a UPND propaganda meeting..an endorsement Channel.
The man seems to Subsist on Propaganda. He breaths Propaganda, he Lives Propaganda, Walks Propaganda, Talks Propaganda…His life is Propaganda. That is his oxygen.
No wonder even the remains of the 6th President, continue being confined in a freezer cabinet 9 months after death.
That body near Hakainde, and Propaganda takes over. The family knows this , and can’t allow the body of their loved one to be an instrument of Propaganda..a channel for endorsement. Abused in life, and Abused in death.
