WHAT IS THE OBSESSION WITH WANTING TO SEE THE BODY OF PRESIDENT EDGAR C LUNGU
KUM’MAWA DEVELOPMENT COALITION aka UMODZI KUM’MAWA is increasingly getting worried and concerned regards the issue of our late 6th President Dr Edgar Chagwa Lungu who is an Easterner.
We were reluctant to comment on this matter because we know the matter is before the South African High Court in Pretoria and we hoped that everyone will wait for the courts guide regards the way forward and bring settlement and end to the matter.
However, Government’s continued change of position on this matter has worried us and we thought of putting a clear and categorical stance forthwith as custodians of the interests of the people of Eastern Province.
Firstly, why has Government insisted on wanting to see the body, Yet the President has stated on several times that he knew and confirmed the death of Dr Edgar Chagwa Lungu the very morning he died in South Africa. What’s the purpose of sending people to go and view the body? Is this some sort of diabolical actions? Could there be some sort of witchcraft involved? In our dialect we ask, mulibe umfwiti umu?
The other concern is, why has President Hichilema sent a delegation without consulting stakeholders from Eastern Province or better still involve our Traditional leadership from the province knowing too well that Edgar comes from Eastern Province? What are they hiding? Does it mean that Edgar Lungu has no parents? We ask this due to the fact that there has been no transparency whatsoever.
We are concerned as a Province because this is not the first time this is happening to the peole of Eastern Province. First it was the late Suzgo Nyika where Government sent authorities to go and exhume his body. This is so worrying and we feel targeted as a Province.
In our view, Government should have allowed the court process to finish and allow it to give us the people a direction against forcing unhead of things like wanting to see the body. We all know that the funeral rights are an exclusive right for the family in this case the Lungu family and no third party should impose themselves in anyway for any reason, diabolical or otherwise.
We therefore appeal to President Hakainde Hichilema and Government to leave the Lungu family alone to mourn their departed one. And we ask them to respect the wishes of the former Head of State regards how he wished to be burried.
We want also to put it on record that as people of Eastern Province, we wholly and steadfastly so, stand with the Lungu family and say hands off the body of President Edgar Chagwa Lungu.

Listen, this man poses a security risk as long as his whereabouts or status are unknown. Remember it came out of his own mouth, plan B! What is that plan?
The government can only rest when it is verified that the man is indeed no more.
Remember also that his presence in South Africa was fraudulent- multiple passports, and non of them but one being Zambian. The one he used to enter South Africa.
By South African law, he was an illegal person as he overstayed his welcome on the Zambian passport.
If he entered South Africa on a different passport, the question you should be asking is, what was his motive?
Was he not running from the law?
Infact, it would be prudent to confirm he is the one that died.
South Africa then will be asked to deport the body or perhaps seek diplomatic means to repatriate the body back home.

Prove it is his remains and come and put him to rest in his grave with honours, though he was lured into crooked and mischievous actions. It clearly shows that he was surrounded by delinquent minds.
Stop the drama. If you believe in witchcraft, make reference to the famous video at RB’s residence after the 2021 elections. Then tell the nation who was most likely to perform witchcraft between the two individuals.

Only witches who never love you whilst alive and want you dead become obssessed with your mortal remains once you are dead. This is for reasons best known to themselves. The Lungu family knows this all too well. So does umodzi kumawa.
So are you saying that the Lungu family are witches for them to know that there is witchcraft involved? Because it is impossible to know that there is witchcraft involved if one is not a witch or has gone to a witch doctor.
“… KUM’MAWA is increasingly getting worried and concerned…”. These words are attributed to Ngwrira. Ngwira is a shadow of the Lungu family, Makebi, and Lungu. We saw this worry phenomenon in the interview of Nakachinda, where he could not answer a simple yes or no, when asked whether he saw Lungu’s remains at the purported funeral. There is nothing wrong with expressing tribal loyalty, but Ngwira’s sentiments are pure folly!
Ngwira and other dimwits may find some wisdom in reading a 1957 novel entitled, “The Guilty are Afraid.” How long did Lungu take, after pronouncing his Plan B, to disappear? As long as there is no evidence of Lungu’s remains, we shall conclude that he is alive, and he is on an island enjoying Plan B – Kafwa bubela. Your worry, Ngwira, means nothing to us. Crooks have no shame!
Individuals like Chanoda Ngwira contribute nothing of value yet consistently attempt to leverage tribal affiliations to elicit sympathy and further their own malicious agenda. It is both shameful and embarrassing that the PF and its affiliates, including the Lungu family, are exploiting the death of former Sixth President of Zambia, Edgar Chagwa Lungu, for political gain and seeking revenge aimed at discrediting the UPND government and its president.
I have consistently maintained that President Edgar Chagwa Lungu and his family were not despised by the UPND government. The government was merely adhering to protocol by investigating them for the misappropriation of public funds and other wrongdoings they were implicated in.
Contrary to the beliefs held by the Lungu family, the late President actively participated in politics, and his behavior was not commendable, leading the government to revoke his benefits, which is in line with the law. Similarly, the government’s request to view the body of Edgar Chagwa Lungu is not unreasonable. If there are suspicions surrounding the death of any individual, regardless of their status, the law necessitates an investigation, which may sometimes include a postmortem examination. In certain cases, exhumation may be required to ascertain the cause of death, so what is Chanoda Ngwira referring to?
Furthermore, to all our leaders, it is imperative that the government prioritizes investment in quality healthcare by enhancing the infrastructure at UTH and other major hospitals in Zambia. Why do our leaders consistently rush for evacuation to obtain medical services abroad? Why do they shy away from receiving treatment in Zambian healthcare facilities? The government must take action to restore the dignity of the health sector.
UPND media counter this nonsense of calling the Republicans President as being obsessed. It is the unusual behavior of Lungu family and factors surrounding his body that the government should confirm.
Where on earth do you go to a burial service the coffin is no where? Is this done kumawa? People travel to burial by air and road but not allowed to view body? Where on African soil only wife and children view the body? We want to know this strange behavior.

FOR ALL WE KNOW, THIS COULD HAVE BEEN EDGAR LUNGU’S PLAN B. HE MAY BE BUSY SIPPING JAMESON IN HIS ESWATINI MANSION WHILE HIS FAMILY PRETENDS TO MOURN. NOT EVEN THE SOUTH AFRICAN GOVERNMENT HAS PROOF THAT THE MAN WHO DIED IS EDGAR LUNGU.
