As a leader, he’s not tied to tribal affiliations, which could be a significant advantage for PF. He’s known for commanding respect, believing in hard work, and avoiding useless handouts. He believes in discipline and accountability, which serves him well in leadership roles.
Lubinda has been tested, remaining strong and committed to PF even after the 2021 defeat, while others left the party. His tenure as Justice Minister was marked by notable achievements, including the removal of the discriminatory Parentage clause, showcasing his commitment to fairness and equality.

Yes, Lubinda is the best they have. He will penetrate all provinces of Zambia. He is mature and courageous. All those who were quiet and timid after losing power have now come back. Lubinda is a team player. PF must give him the presidency and support him.
Lubinda seems to have the stamina and grip but Mundubile has some better organization skills.PF needs some one who has some serious command of disciplinary actions not to be controlled but to exhibit some sense of orderlyness.The two gentlemen are better than the rest of the contenders.The more the number of presidential hopefuls the higher the probability of disunity and confusion.Those who came from South Africa may spoil the chances of rebranding as they may start engaging some hopefuls from other parties.The court cases must be handled with care as they can cause some delay here and there.PF is competing with a very powerful UPND which is better organized.The economic challenges the country is facing is not about mismanagement of economy by UPND but mainly nature.The drought effects have created problems on energy which is the engine for improvement of economy and the people of Zambia know that too much.PF has a bad history of violence and economic plunder which can not be easily forgotten.The successful leader must have a clean record and separated from the dirty history. If not forget.
Having looked at all the aspiring candidates for the top PF position, I have concluded that Lubinda is the only one who can pose a formidable challenge to HH. His eloquence and mastery of social dynamics places him far ahead his competitors and contemporaries. Lubinda can easily mingle and understands the appetites of the lowest in society. It will be interesting way forward.
