LUNGU AND PF SHOULD BRACE FOR DEFEAT — NKOMBO

The United Party for National Development, (UPND) Chairman for Elections, Gary Nkombo says his party is headed for a landslide victory in the August 12 General Elections.

He says people in the country are tired of the Patriotic Front, (PF) government because of what he termed as bad leadership characterized with corruption and an economic meltdown.

Nkombo, who is also Mazabuka Central UPND Candidate, tells Byta FM News that PF and President Edgar Lungu should brace for defeat.

He said this shortly before a campaign match past on Tuesday in the central business district before the ban on road shows.

But PF Member of the Central Committee, Kebby Mbewe says the ruling party is enjoying support in Southern province and the country at large.

He says people in the country still want President Edgar Lungu to continue rolling out infrastructure development.
