WE HAVE NOT RENEWED AVRAM GRANT’S CONTRACT – FAZ

The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has refuted media reports indicating that Chipolopolo Boys coach Avram Grant has been offered a new contract.

FAZ has revealed that Grant is still serving his initial 2-year contract, which came into effect on December 22, 2022.

Grant was given targets to qualify for the 2023 Africa Cup and the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The Association states that any latest developments, such as contract renewals, will be made public, based on its mantra of transparency.

“The same way FAZ has transparently announced for every coach it has signed would be the same way for anyone getting a contract in the future,” FAZ stated.
