MUNDUBILE PLEDGES TO ADDRESS BAROTSELAND AGREEMENT, DEVELOPMENT CHALLENGES
National Reconciliation Party for Unity and Prosperity (NRPUP) presidential candidate Brian Mundubile has pledged to resolve issues surrounding the Barotseland Agreement and accelerate development in Western Province if elected into office.
Mr. Mundubile made the commitment today when he paid a courtesy call on the Barotse Royal Establishment ahead of his campaign engagements in the province.
He said his administration would pursue dialogue and reconciliation to find a lasting solution to matters affecting the Barotseland Agreement while respecting the cultural and traditional institutions of the region.
Mr. Mundubile also pledged to improve road infrastructure, expand access to quality healthcare and education, create employment opportunities for young people, and promote investment in agriculture, tourism and fisheries to stimulate economic growth in Western Province.
The NRPUP leader further assured the Barotse Royal Establishment that his government would work closely with traditional leaders to ensure equitable development and improved service delivery across the province.
His visit to the Barotse Royal Establishment forms part of his campaign programme in Western Province ahead of the August 13 general election.
