There was drama at the traditional introduction ceremony of Ugandan singer Yaled and his fiancée Grace, after a woman stormed the event claiming he had promised to marry her.
The incident unfolded at their Kukyala ceremony, an event meant to mark the couple’s formal introduction ahead of their union.
The yet-to-be-identified lady insisted that the groom had made her a promise of marriage, only to find him marrying another woman.
A video shared by blogger Matt Tee captured the celebration, which was held indoors and decorated with floral arrangements bearing the pair’s names, before it descended into chaos.
The identity of the woman who arrived with her claims remains unknown. It is also unclear how the ceremony concluded following the confrontation.
