ZANU PF RAISES US$9.5 MILLION AT PRESIDENTIAL DINNER
ZANU PF raised US$9.5 million at a Presidential Dinner held at the Hippodrome in Braeside, Harare, on Saturday night to fund preparations for its 23rd National People’s Conference, scheduled for 12 to 17 October 2026 at Chinhoyi University of Technology in Mashonaland West Province.
The conference, expected to bring together at least 7 000 delegates, will be held under the theme, “From Resolutions to Results: Consolidating Economic Development and Deepening Empowerment Towards Vision 2030.”
Delegates are expected to review the implementation of party resolutions, assess progress towards Vision 2030 and set priorities for economic development and empowerment.
The fundraising dinner brought together senior party officials and invited guests from the business community, with the US$9.5 million raised expected to support the logistical and organisational requirements of the conference.
