“Someone came to my inbox and asked me why we are praising President Hakainde Hichilema so much.

But regardless of that, he managed to score 18 league goals and 6 Champions League goals.
Despite his short stay, he scored more goals than all our strikers put together. While he made our strikers look like a joke, he made our team finish the season more decently. It could have been really worse.
So president HH is like Ronaldo. He came to lead Zambia at their worst moment when we had the economy in recession.
Despite being in power for just a few months, he has done some very brave and daring things that seemed impossible before.
He has made the previous strikers look very average and even undeserving. Because of his tenacity, the project that seemed impossible of restoring the macroeconomic indicators is now seeming very possible.
Inflation is back to single digit, the exchange rate is stable, extravagant government spending has been curtailed and now we have income surplus that we need to ask parliament that we spend it on productive sectors of our economy.
Our Ronaldo is doing great and definitely by the end of his term, we won’t just be in the Champions League but we will be lifting the trophy.
