MINISTER ELIJAH MUCHIMA TAKES MANSA MAN TO COURT FOR STEALING HIS K44 MILLION KWACHA

A 57 year old man of mansa has been dragged to the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court for allegedly stealing a motor vehicle, motorcycle and other items valued at K44 million from Lands and Natural Resources Minister Elijah Muchima.

Christopher Chimanya is facing three counts of theft. In counts one and two, Chimanya is charged with theft of a motor vehicle.

It is alleged in the first count that Chimanya, on dates unknown but between January 1, 2023 and July 30, 2023, in Lusaka, did steal a motor vehicle, namely a Land Cruiser with registration number AAV 3505, valued at K490,000, the property of Elijah Muchima plus many more properties.

  1. He stole things, one thing he stole with a value attached to it is a car and a motorbike. Total values than than a million, I am asking how that goes up all the way to K44 million? He stole property? A house?

    • Maybe he store some houses, just not sure where he is hiding them lol, maybe he also store a plot near American Embassy costing K1.6m , but this plot may lose value if he took it somewhere far from American Embassy lol.

  2. I am equally puzzled, because the biggest item here is a land cruiser valued at 450 thousand, even when you add these other small items like motor bikes, how does it sky rocket to 44 million? A clarification please.
