NO SALARY FOR HABWELA, ONLY DISCIPLINE-HH

President Hakainde Hichilema has declared that his son who was recently commissioned as an officer in the Zambia National Service-ZNS will not be drawing any salary or allowance from the Zambia National Service.
Mr. Hichilema, made these remarks yesterday in Kitwe during the official opening of the new United Party for National Development-UPND Provincial secretariat.
He said sending his son to the Zambia National Service was not meant for sustaining his life through getting paid, but for the sake of attaining discipline before engaging in any form of family business.
“I thought I should make this clear here today, i sent my son to ZNS for discipline after he graduated from USA with a degree for discipline,” he said.
The Head of State said his son is not entitled to any salary and will not be drawing any, adding that salaries are a preserve of those who are truly deserving.

▪︎Being wealthy is seen as possessing property suspected to be proceeds of crime
▪︎Others are forced to comply with usual practice of being buried at Embassy Park but him refuses to live in State House but commutes daily from his private house stating “there’s no law” that compels a Head of State to live in State House.
▪︎Caders are now in all public institutions, embassies – at all levels (they used to be just at bus stops, markets)

Having sacrificed so much for the reintroduction of Multi Party Democracy as UNZA students during the heat of Zambia from 1986 – 1991… Gave it my all , and saw to it that the student led movement effected the change from Kenneth Kaunda’s One Party rule to Multi Party Democracy through a hard struggle … leading to the repeal of Article 4 of Zambia ‘s Constitution.. Sacrificing even our education.
And as we walked on foot from UNZA Great East Road to Kasanda grounds in Kabwe for the first people’s Rally, we knew that Change was finally with us.
And for any one to mess around with our multi party democracy…
To institute a Misrule of the Sacreds, by the Sacreds, for the Sacreds… Compromised Democratic Institutions, and Moribund Governance Systems …A total reversal of what we hold deal, and sacrificed so much for….

One Hundred Thousand Kwacha NKUKU Man …….Well spoken my man. I was in Mumbwa Zambia Airforce Base 1991 and some of us paid the price that time and someone comes to completely destroy all that we fought for even at Garden Motel? He is a joker of a president Zambia has ever experienced.
So HH is using the tax payer’s money to manage and nurture the discipline of his children ? What kind of nonsense is that ?HH Sir, you mean to say you have no capacity, discipline or wisdom o manage the discipline of your own children? This president is a serious disgrace. ZNS is a national service with well defined roles and objectives. What message or commands are you indirectly giving to the ZNS Commandant and his Leadership with regard to managing, treatment and welfare of your son while there ? Is he going to live in a ZNS Camp where other officers live ? Is he going to be moved to other rural locations like Kawambwa where ZNS has a camp ? Or we are witnessing another level of hypocrisy where someone is being displayed as one of us yet he lives his own life, gets his own personalised commands and instructions and therefore he doesn’t serve any purpose or contribution to fulfil ZNS national objectives and assignments ? Or is there something we are not seeing here like so many things that are coming highly masked? Who cares for a salary when what he gets far much surpasses a conventional salary. Lets talk about you Sir. You claim you do not get a salary….Great and fantastic but we know all the proxy companies you have registered in almost every province and these companies are getting government contracts. On face value, there is decentralisation and contracts are being given to local companies, the question is who is behind those local companies ? Time will tell which is less than a year from now. We rest our case
Mr. President, you don’t have to belabour the point. Your children are already disciplined. Yours is a disciplined family. It took a long time for them to manifest on the political scene, unlike children of some politicians who figure prominently for the wrong reasons.
What I find appealing about you, Mr. President, is your integrity. PF tried very hard and still try very hard to throw mud at you, but it is water off a duck’s back. Nothing sticks. As things stand, you have my vote.
