PF NOT PHAZED BY FOILED RALLY
…says more rallys , in the works…

The Patriotic Front says attempts to prevent them from excersing their democratic rights by the UPND government is a waste of time because they are not moved .
Speaking on the burning issue program on 5fm radio this morning, PF information Chairperson Hon. Raphael Nakacinda stressed that the PF had done everything according to the book in preparing for the rally that should have taken place on August 26 , at which the party was going to unveil its 2023/2026 strategic plan and road map .
Nakacinda said it was after the party released the adverts for the said event that the UPND government became agitated because they saw how much the public welcomed the move and how eagerly they were looking foward to the event.
He said it was truelly laughable that the Inspector General of Police had given the excuse of not having enough officers to manage the security at the rally yet managed to deploy 500 police officers complete with armoured vehicles to prevent the rally from taking place .
He Said the UPND knew that amidst high prices of commodities , high utility bills, and unbearable hush living standards , the people of Zambia were looking for a message of hope which the PF were going to deliver to them at the rally, something which the UPND were not going to allow.
Nakacinda said the UPND had failed miserably in their governance and that the PF was the obvious alternative for the Zambian people because their development track record was there for all to see .
Nakacinda has intimated that the PF has several programs lined up where they intend to engage the people of Zambia and give them hope.
” We have rallies lined up for Central province and Copperbelt province , fundraisers, and then the Lusaka rally scheduled for October, ” he said .
Nakacinda has since promised the people of Zambia that PF is nowhere near dead but that in the past two years, it had taken time to re-strategise , regroup , reflect, and reorganise and was now back in full force as a government in waiting .
