OVER 3, 000 QUALITY BULLS TO BE AUCTIONED AT THE HH CHOMA FARM THIS SUNDAY
In a bid to improve cattle breeding and the quality of beef, in the surrounding areas and Zambia as a whole, President Hakainde Hichilema will this Sunday, 1st June, 2025 be auctioning over 3, 000 quality bulls at His Choma farm in Southern Province.
The Head of State, who is not only a rancher but a crop farmer, has been one of the major producers of quality beef and bulls in Zambia for many years now.
The auction slated for this Sunday will open at exactly 10:00 hours.
Livestock farming is one of the major sources of self employment and if going by numbers, and each bull costing K30, 000 as a giveaway price as most bulls cost not less than K50, 000, President Hichilema would raise a whooping 90, 000, 000 Kwacha out of his 3, 000 bulls.
The President has, since his young age, been doing extensive Livestock farming and is now calling for diversification into crop farming in the country.
According to researchers, farming is set to be the major producers of billionaires in the next years
Farming is also set to be one of the major sources of jobs, including self-employment.
Is what Hakainde doing even legal? Is a sitting president allowed to do this?
Anyway, he has some nice bulls. I might just go there and buy around 50 for my farm. Business is business. Pakwakana ubunga, tapaba insoni.

He’s doing what is right. So, according to your negative schema, you think that the sitting president can’t sell anything that he had. If he can’t sell any animal at his farm, then what is the purpose of having and managing a farm? Please reason positively. Presidents are not exempted from from doing genuine businesses. Infact he must lead as the first example, to suit the “follow the leader game.” Concept. Just go there if you have the capacity and start a proper ranch.

@Haindigo , a sitting President is also a citizen with full rights. He is not autioning government property. Also check around the region most of our African Presidents are becoming Big farmers and Ranchers too. Look at Kagane, ED Munagagwa, Ramaphosa, Museveni even Thdhilombo Felix Tshisekedi. Former Nigerian president Gen O Obasanjo had a massive poultry farm with over 5 Million birds.

Imagine those are just maybe a quarter of the Bulls he has coz obviously there is about 7,000 young ones and maybe 6,000 remaining Bulls actively servicing. So in total we are talking about 25 to 30,000 cattle in Choma area alone, then someone should say that HH is corrupt, how much does that corrupter has then to convince HH to accepta bribe sure?
