As I experience my Da’s state funeral, the remarkable thing, is not that he was the fourth president of Zambia, but the fact that so many heads of state and former heads of state, speak of him in such glowing terms – his love of africa and it’s people, his consistent good cheer, his constant dedication to the peace and unity of Zambia and the continent. From the most influential dignitaries to the ordinary people of the streets, his name rings out with love, honor and respect.
