THE PATSON DAKA MAGIC MOMENT IN THE GAME LAST NIGHT

By Miles Bwalya Sampa, MP

I observed a unique moment that changed the game for Zambia last night . Goalkeeper Nsabata makes a high school blunder attempting told hold the ball on the goal line instead of parrying it over the bar. It’s slips into the net gifting Lesotho the goal early in the game.

While everyone about screams at the goal keeper, Patson Daka walks to him and comforts him that they still could work harder and win despite his error. Zambia not only equalizes but but beat Lesotho 3-1 at the end of the game. Fashion Sakala scored the equalizer and Lameck Banda scored the two winning goals. Patson did not score into the next but scored big the moment he uplifted the goalkeeper and team after the goal error. Well done Patson and entire team 🙌🏽👊🏽

I was looking forward to congratulating players and coach Avram in person for his first win. I however got to discover they had actually gone straight to the airport after the game to board a chartered plan to SA for the return game on Tuesday.

Impressive administrative preparations and kudos to FAZ and the Sport Ministry for the well planned team movements between the two matches. As at this morning the team woke up in Johannesburg and chances are they will be acclimatizing at the actual stadium 🏟️ of the game today while Lesotho may still be marooned in Zambia.

Yes when the teams wins we commend them all and when the teams loses, we shall equally blame them all 😊. Well done to all fro the wonderful game yesterday 🙌🏽.
