UPND AND PF CONTINUE BEHAVING LIKE TWINS

It’s so disheartening for a young person in politics and belonging to parties led by HARD HEADED , INCONSIDERATE AND STUBBORN LEADERS like the ones leading political parties today !
Instead of providing checks/balances …capitalizing and concentrating on;
-The Fuel Price increments that have led to a rise in commodity prices of essential goods and service like mealie meal and transportation costs
-Removal of subsidies leading to ZESCO connection fees rising from K750 to K1,750 to K6,995 with a another looming increment on tariffs
-Job creation and Non consideration of youths in Key position
-No hope for Bursaries/Meal allowances for Universities and Colleges
-Segregated/Regionalized infrastructural development plan
-The looming record high hunger as advised by the JCTR’ Basic Need and Nutritional Basket figures,..
My beloved opposition PF leaders are up in arms against each other LOADING TONS AND TONS OF INSULTS on each other’s shoulders through recorded phone calls and social media voice notes for FAILING TO SETTLE FOR A PERSON TO LEAD US.
It’s about NOTHING ELSE BUT THEM LEADING AND NEVER TO THINK OF BEING LED… REBRANDING MY FOOT!
I turn to wonder if truly it’s COUNTRY BEFORE SELF that we all have when we decide to join politics.
Scold me for bringing this thought here but it was the same with numerous matters prior to our loss!
Many of my young colleagues bemoaned CADERISM and expressed our opinions internally but it all fell on deaf ears. The very thugs we had came ‘guns blazing’ , with all sorts of threats to extents of banning youths perceived to have had an education and pushing the anti-caderism agenda from attending any function where leaders would be present.
LOOK WHERE WE ARE TODAY…
I see the same trend with the UPND even when they try by all means to hide and sugarcoat the true picture. That is the mistake we PF youths made ! WE LET MEDIOCRITY TAKE TOLL FOR FEAR OF THE UNKNOWN yet allowing our party take the path to destruction.
With the UPND , slowly , their cadres are crawling back to the stations and markets. Go to Buseko you will see. Power is slowly getting to the heads of their leaders. Silently amassing wealth as youths keep looking for where to enter from.
They want NO ONE to advise President HH otherwise even when the matter is so clear and the public is observing.
They’ve shielded the president forgetting he is their most valuable capital with the very youths and majority electorates.
They are developing an “I DONT CARE” attitude towards their own youths. A force they used for campaigns. Their phones are now on divert and frequently go unpicked when their own youths try to reach them.
What most of these youths in politics and belonging to UPND want is an opportunity to contribute to the wellbeing of the Zambian people with the party UPND as a vessel.
They’ve taken a path not different from my Party PF’s. And the ending can easily be predicted …
It’s the Youths to be used , …later DUMPED.
It’s simply back to a game of EACH ONE FOR HIMSELF AND GOD FOR US ALL…
THIS ATTITUDE COMES WITH MONEY I GUESS 😭
