    • Yes we are voting wisely in 2026 by bringing HH back till 2031 PF criminals nimaimbwa opanda michila, they may come and legalize tribalism favoritism cadrism police brutality gassing land grabbing thuggerism and corruption like what they did in power.Edgar lungu was in copper belt you saw the number of people who followed him.

  1. The country needed Forex!
Kabili you left the Treasury empty and the mines dead!
If we had not exported, we should have experienced a very difficult situation of countrywide fuel shortages and you probably don’t have an idea what acute fuel shortage does to the economy!
Now that we have stimulated the economy and the mines, we can have our Maize back. Kabili it is still our Maize … Kikikiki
That’s what is called Applied Economics!
Unfortunately, high Mealie Meal prices will only affect those who have not fallen in love with the idea of growing their own food, especially ba mu Komboni balibe minda … Kikikiki
A few former Komboni dwellers we mentored have seen the wisdom of leaving Komboni life!
They have seen the beauty of staying on a farm. No overcrowding, no rentals, not having to buy everything but thriving and feeding off the excess the farm has to offer. That is healthy living!
No stress of the Hussle of scrounging for a living!
The Tragedy is that desperate politicians like Mumbi Phiri don’t want bamu Komboni to see the possibility of a better existence!
They know it’s very easy to manipulate dehumanized slam dwellers!
    Anyway, continue your Maize politics!
Some of us have no appetite any more for political food!
Our diets are too diversified on the farm. The little political food we grow is for our workers and extended family, and the excess is what we offload to the market as part of CSR!
The Soil is so sweet to the farmer!
We Exported in order to import!
    It was a strategy!

    • So why did your small god not tell all this to voters before elections? Why lie? Instead, his message was the exact opposite of what you have written.

      Lies, after lies, after lies.

      Vote wisely in 2026.

      • Indigo Tryol fuseki iwe PF chigalu! Your hatred and bitterness against HH will not bring you desired victory in 2026 and beyond. There’s too much bitterness and malice against HH in all your comments iwe PF loser. Abash guntrotting and Panga Wielding PF criminals for ever!!

  2. Some people, which sane person can vote out a president just because he sold some maize? That’s wishful thinking. HH is the right president for this country and he will go up to 2031. Zondani muzalema, didn’t you see how red Chinsali and Nakonde were today, I don’t think Zambians are ready to let him go. Just think of other reasons and not selling maize. If that’s is what ZNS is doing in Muchinga, he will pick it, is he not in Muchinga?

  3. The story from the driver and the purported interview by Mumbi Phiri is based on lies and propaganda. If maize is imported from Tanzania the importer is supposed to pay tax to Zambia Revenue Authority and there is no need for the drivers or importers to continue paying tax or levy at every check point for their passage.

On the other hand, grain levy which falls under Own Source Revenue (OSR) is a local levy that a person pays to the Council of a particular district for transporting or moving that crop/ grain usaully gotten in that district to another district. That payment of crop/ grain levy should be receipted on an authenticated receipt. Once the levy is paid there is no need of the buyer to pay for the passage of the same crop/ grain in other districts. From the explanation the driver is giving it is purely an exaggerated story. Mumbi Phiri who was privileged to serve as Member of Parliament should be well vested with knowledge to understand transctional issues of grain importation and what the law demands.

Therefore, to help the government to fight any alleged corruption citizens should investigate issues of corruption to come up with proper evidence for possible prosecution. If the alleged corrupt conduct by ZNS and ZRA officers did happen, the concerned citizens and victims should report formally to appropriate authorities for action.
