The Candidates’ Comment
A small bunch of vultures drawn from the Patriotic Front (PF) Central Committee have decided to dissolve the Lusaka Province Executive. We are saying a small bunch because; it is not everyone within the PF Central Committee who believes in the behavior of these elements.
Of course, it takes very little intelligence – if a little is all that one has – to tell why these elements have opted to dissolve the Lusaka Province executive. When you listen to their reasons, you will realize that these dishonest and shameless elements have realized that their continued stay in the positions of Central Committee member is slowly coming to an end.
According to Nickson Chilangwa, the Lusaka Province executive has been dissolved because it lost the election in the province. Look who is talking. Chilangwa and his fellows were solemnly responsible for the adoption of candidates in Lusaka of which most of them were unpopular and undesirable to the people. This is why they lost an election. Overall, the PF adopted elements that lost touch with the people. But when they sat to decide on who to adopt and when the people asked them to follow the interest of the people, they were arrogant and stubborn about it. This is why, in totality, PF could not win the elections.
Anyone who is honest enough must not fail to admit that the PF lost elections because of the characters in the central committee themselves, and not the people on the structures. Look at what happened in Petauke Central. The people in Petauke, on the structure recommended that Emmanuel JJ Banda was more popular than Dora Siliya but the Central Committee picked someone else using their own feelings. They lost. Look at what happened in Lumezi. The structure recommended that Munir Zulu was more popular than Pilila Jere but the Central Committee ignored and chose the latter. This behavior basically happened everywhere and they lost the election.
In fact, most of the elements in the Central committee were ministers in the Edgar Lungu administration. They are the corrupt people that raped the treasury. Today, it is these same elements who think Zambians are foolish enough to retain them into power. The truth is, there is no normal person who can trust these elements again. It is very difficult to understand why, the same bunch of characters who were rejected are today in the forefront trying to take over from Edgar. Who will trust these corrupt bandits ever again?
We all know that these schemes to suspend structures are calculated and intended to determine their own preference as the successor of Edgar. They are not prepared to go to the general conference with clean hands because no one can ever trust these bandits. They are sure that they cannot win the election fairly.
This is all to fix Chishimba Kambwili, whom they are not prepared to face because the majority of the people in PF want him to be their leader.
