ZAMBIA LOSES FIVE EX-PRESIDENTS IN LESS THAN 14-YEARS
Zambia has lost a combined five sitting and former Presidents in a space of about 13 years since 2008.
3rd Republican President, Levy Patrick Mwanawasa and his 5th counterpart, Michael Chilufya Sata died while in office in 2008 and 2014 respectively.
2nd Republican President, Fredrick Titus Chiluba (2011), 1st Republican President, David Kenneth Kaunda (2021) and 4th Republican President Rupiah Bwezani Banda (11.03.2022 around 1900hours).’
