    36 PUPILS GET 6 POINTS AT CANISIUS SCHOOL

    36 Pupils in the Grade 12 of 2022 examinattion at Canisius Secondary School in Southern province have gotten 6 points the highest score in the history of the School.

    The Headteacher has confirmed to Chikuni Radio that the results were the highest since the inception of the Roman Catholic Church run School.

    Canisius is one of the top performing School not just in Southern Province but the country.

    Mooya Mwanachingwala the Headteacher says in an article below by Chikuni Radio seen by Zambian Eye that the School is determined to offer quality education.

    Canisius Secondary School in Monze District recorded 100 percent pass rate for the 2022 Grade 12 examinations according to school authorities.

    In an interview with Radio Chikuni News, Mr. Mwanachingwala disclosed that 36 of the candidates got 6 points, a first in the history of the school.

    He highlighted that this is the first time the school has recorded the highest number of candidates obtaining 6 points since it’s inception.

    Mr. Mwanachingwala has since assured that the school will continue to offer the best and quality education to learners in a bid to contribute to improved standards in the country.

    And Mr. Mwanachingwala has refuted assertions that the school only targets the best performing pupils at Grade 8 from far flung areas at the expense of local learners.

    He says contrary to the claims, the school reserves 80 spaces for local pupils from schools around Chikuni Mission out of the 180 spaces at Grade 8 level and 30 spaces for Day Scholars at Grade 10.
