Police are closing in on the organizers responsible for booing that raised safety concerns.

Sources within the Police Service have confirmed that investigations are nearing completion regarding the booing incident at yesterday’s ABSA soccer finals, which they believe jeopardized the safety of both the stadium and its spectators.
Investigators are primarily concerned about safety, particularly because the gathering was non-political. Insiders suggest that the police interests are, a potential commotion that could have led to a stampede, if the opposing side had reacted to the booing.
Sources have named Emmanuel Mwamba as a potential instigator of what could have been a catastrophe, potentially leading to FIFA and CAF banning Zambia due to safety concerns of all its stadiums.
Meanwhile, Emmanuel Mwamba issued a statement this morning denying any involvement in orchestrating the booing. Last evening, Mwamba shared a video showing a small group of individuals booing, but is accusing State House of scheming to have him arrested.
Presidents are booed the world over, do police bother to carry out investigations? No, unless police have nothing better to do! Super Ken Kaunda was booed, insulted, pelted with eggs towards end of his presidency, police then never instituted any investigations because they knew that was begining of the end for super Kaunda Wamuyaya Lesa kumulu panshi Kaunda Mankangala munshwebwa! So those are signs that things are not alright for the presidency! Surely who could organize soccer fans to go to the stadium just to go and boo! Some of the soccer fans came from as far as Kabwe and Kafue at their own expense! Just cool down ba police please! Do your work to protect citizens who are being attacked and robbed during load shedding in the night! And victimizing innocent citizens , just because he has posted the video! Anybody could have filmed that video, it didn’t have to be Emmanuel Mwamba!

Booing is due to people being not happy with the leadership so that is one way of showing displeasure in a democracy. There is nothing wrong in doing that.
