KAWECHE KAUNDA DIES
The name Kaunda holds a status that transcends mere politics, representing the very foundation of the sovereign of Zambia.
Today the country has been plunged into mourning following the sudden passing of Dr Kaweche Kaunda at the age of sixty-seven.
As the fifth child of Zambia’s founding President, Dr Kenneth Kaunda, his death in Ndola is big loss.
This loss is not merely a private sorrow for the Kaunda family but a collective moment of reflection for the entire Zambian citizenry, who view the family through the lens of gratitude and deep historical reverence.
