CAR BASHES MAN WHILE ANSWERING THE CALL OF NATURE
A 25-year-old man in Mazabuka District has sustained multiple injuries after he was hit by a speeding vehicle along the Great North Road while answering the call of nature.
Southern Province Commissioner of Police, Auxensio Daka, tells Byta FM Zambia that the accident happened on Saturday around 23:00 hours at Musikili junction about five kilometres south of Mazabuka town.
Daka states that this occurred when the driver of a Nissan vehicle, Mike Mundanda, 46, lost control due to excessive speed and hit a parked Toyota Vitz before it was careered off the road and hit a tree.
He explains that the driver of the Vitz, Obrien Lweendo, who was at the time answering the call of nature and was not in the vehicle sustained a fractured left leg and hand, multiple bruises on the face and general body pains.
The Commissioner further discloses that Mudanda also sustained a cut on his left leg, bruises on the head and general body pains and the two are currently at Mazabuka General Hospital.
