American rapper Robert Rihmeek Williams known popularly as Meek-Mil will make a return to Africa after his previous fun-filled visit during the festive season. This time round, the award-winning rapper is definitely not going ‘alone’. He has promised to go along with his entire hood.

Meek stated this in a recent tweet on his official handle of 11.5 million followers, drawing massive reactions. He indicated that, he will like them to also have a glimpse of what he experienced in Ghana specifically. “Next time I go to Africa im taking my hood! They gotta see Ghana!!!!,” the rapper wrote in a tweet but why Ghana?

Meek Mill made headlines following his acceptance to an offer from organizers of one of Ghana’s greatest end of year programs, the Afronations. The program brings top notch musicians, both in Africa and the diaspora on a single platform to entertain music lovers.

His entrance and short stay in Ghana were beautiful. He was greeted with a king’s treatment right from the airport, given the usual Ghanaian hospitality. He later announced his presence with a motorbike parade on the streets of Accra ahead of his grand show. As usual, he did not disappoint.

The musician put up a trail-blazing performance at the marine drive of the Black Stars square in Ghana, thrilling thousands of entertainment enthusiasts. Ghana has opened its doors and lined up programs to build a good relationship between Africans in the diaspora and their roots. In several attempts, the country has organized entertainment shows, cultural events and many inviting diasporans to the country.
