I tell in love with Sylvia Masebo when as Minister of Health under Sata,she single handedly dismantled the moribund Central Board of Health which was designed entirety by ignorant foreign donors and just became a lucrative cash cow for senior staff through endless and meaningless workshops, seminars, foreign travel and tours, dubious procurement contracts and porous financial control systems
Masebo disrupted thefts and became enemy number one to the many vested interests.However, with hindsight,her intervention came too late as corruption had taken root and was already institutionalised.People where terrified when she returned again under HH and they did their best to frustrate her
