TALIBAN DELEGATION ARRIVES IN QATAR FOR TALKS WITH PAKISTAN
A high-level Taliban team led by Defense Minister Mohammed Yaqub has just landed in Doha for negotiations with Pakistan.
Islamabad’s delegation, led by Khawaja Asif and General Asim Malik, arrived a day earlier and had been waiting.
The talks come after a brief ceasefire fell apart, following deadly cross-border strikes linked to Afghan-based militants attacking inside Pakistan.
Both sides now face growing pressure to de-escalate before the situation spins further out of control.
