UPND USED TO SPEAK CLEARLY. NOW IT’S ALL WAFFLE AND BLABBER
During the run-up to the general election in 2021, UPND spoke in a language that everyone understood without difficulties. It articulated the predicaments we faced with skill and intellect.
Today, the party in government has difficulty speaking coherently – it’s all waffling and blabbering. The truth is that UPND overrated itself and has failed lamentably.
The poverty, hunger and deprivation that is unfolding before our eyes is not a consequence of natural disasters, but a product of crippling neoliberal capitalist prescriptions designed to hurt the struggling masses in order to facilitate the opulent lifestyle of a small, greedy, egoistic and parasitic ruling elite.
Since coming to power two years ago, the UPND government has unleashed cut-throat policies that have thoroughly vandalised the lives and livelihoods of the great majority our people.
