PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema’s tolerance towards his political opponents has made him unpopular amongst UPND members because according to him, he should have gone on a spree of arresting his political opponents soon after taking over the governance of the country, Twambo Mutinta has said.

Personally, I feel the issue is not about arresting political opponents but is has all to do about not acting like a politician, and being very formal in all occasions (a politician has to mix it up), the hype of Bally Bally that transpired in 2019 will be very difficult to attain this time around because he has allowed himself to fade away slowly, if the way I see things is the way UPND members see’s them, then it could be the point at which his members are not happy because it threatens their stay in power. It is high time the political hype was strengthened because such hype does not come easy and to bring it to the apex is no play.
