With so much hatred thrown at him for reasons both known and unknown, Zambia’s arguably biggest artiste Yo Maps has seemingly won back people’s love after his latest song called “Aweah.”

The talented singer has of late been in a rough phase as people among them the “Disciplinary Committee” have been harsh on him.

Some have been singling out his manager DJ Kandeke and his wife, advising him to tame the duo.

During the awards, regards Yo Maps not winning any, he was the topic on social media as the Facebook community clearly indicated that he deserved the awards but they couldn’t vote for him due to the issues they had with him.

While some expected the artiste to break due to the hate, Yo Maps emerged victorious and blessed the country with his emotional and irresistible song. The song “Aweah” is based on the rough phase that the talented artiste has been through.

In the song, the singer pleads with people not to kill his dream. The song has gotten the attention of a lot of people including prominent ones like the MMD president Nevers Mumba who said he almost shed tears after listening to the song.
