WE CANNOT SUPPORT HOMOSEXUALITY, ITS CONTRARY TO OUR CULTURE AND CHRISTIAN VALUES – HH

President Hakainde Hichilema writes…

We express our deepest gratitude to the Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia (EFZ) for inviting us to celebrate their 60th anniversary, at Bread of Life Church in Emmasdale this afternoon. We further extend our heartfelt congratulations to the Church Mother Body, on reaching this significant milestone.

The EFZ’s steadfast commitment to partnership, faith, and service to the community has been a source of hope and inspiration for many across our great nation.

Their dedication to providing spiritual guidance, promoting social justice, and fostering community development through initiatives in health and education is truly admirable.

As a government, we stand ready and willing to support the Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia in partnerships that will promote sustainable economic development for the benefit of all our citizens.

We also reaffirm our long-held belief that Zambia’s declaration as a Christian nation will remain. As Africans and Christians, we wish to state that we cannot support homosexuality, as it is contrary to our culture and Christian values.

We call upon the Church to work with the government in addressing the increasing rates of divorce and the misuse of social media, both of which are becoming prevalent.

In celebration of ECZ’s 60th anniversary, we are pleased to donate 21 heifers and one bull to help establish a herd and support their efforts in starting a ranching business.

Hakainde Hichilema
President of the Republic of Zambia.

  1. What is he says in public, and what is systematically being implemented on the ground, to the pleasure of IMF and western masters, is very different.

    Vote wisely in 2026.
